   • Ad Details: Title, description, price, condition, images of books, notes, or study materials.
   • Transaction Information: Details negotiated through the in-app chat (meeting place, cash payment arrangement).
3. Communications: Messages sent via our **secure in-app chat** feature.
4. Cashback/Referral Program Data: If you participate in the “Studic Cashback” program, we collect:
   • Referral Code Usage: To track earned rewards.
   • Cash-out Details: JazzCash or Easypaisa account details, required only when you request a cash payout.
5. Feedback: Any feedback, suggestions, or comments you submit through the in-app feature. 

B. Automatically Collected Information

1. Usage Data: Information about how you access and use the Service, such as the time and date of your visits, pages or ads viewed, features used (e.g., Favorites List, Search), and the total time spent on the Service.
2. Device Information: Information about the mobile device you use to access Studic, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
3. Location Information: We may use your device’s IP address to infer your general **City** for better discovery and Service relevance.

2. How We Use Your Information

1. To Provide and Maintain the Service: To create and manage your account, verify your institute connection, and enable you to post, manage, and discover ads (Manage Your Listings).
2. To Facilitate Transactions: To enable communication between buyers and sellers via the secure in-app chat and facilitate the negotiation and handover process.
3. Security and Privacy:
   • To maintain a Verified Network and ensure you are connecting with verified students.
   • Your phone number remains hidden from all users and is only used by Studic for account verification and critical service-related communications.
   • All contact between users is handled through the in-app chat.
4. Referral and Reward Program: To administer the “Studic Cashback” program, track referral success, process rewards, and issue cash payments to your provided JazzCash or Easypaisa accounts.
5. Personalization and Improvement: To analyze usage data, troubleshoot technical issues, improve the user experience, and enhance our features (e.g., Smart Discovery & Management).
6. Communication: To send you service-related and promotional communications (you can opt-out of promotional messages).
7. Compliance: To enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

1. With Other Users (Limited): When you post an ad, your Name, selected City, and Institute Name are visible to other users to maintain a secure, localized, campus marketplace environment. Your Phone Number is never shared with other users.
2. With Service Providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (for cash-out requests), data analytics, and hosting. These providers are obligated to protect your information.
3. For Legal Reasons: If required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
   • Comply with a legal obligation or request.
   •  Protect and defend the rights or property of Studic.
   • Protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public.
4. In Case of Business Transfer: If Studic is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred, provided the new entity adheres to this Privacy Policy. 

4. Data Retention and Deletion

1. Ad Data: Once an item is successfully sold, you must delete the ad. When you delete the ad, all related chat history will be automatically and instantly deleted from our servers for your privacy.
2. Profile Data: You have full control to update or delete your profile information anytime. If you delete your account, your profile data will be removed from our active databases.
3. Chat History: Chat history related to active ads is retained to facilitate the transaction. Upon ad deletion, the corresponding chat history is automatically deleted.
